Kiju was born as the runt of his litter, which resulted in him being much smaller than his brother and sister. Not long after their birth, their father was killed, leaving their mother to raise the three of them alone. Unfortunately, Kiju seemed to always be the butt of their jokes, causing him to slowly lose his mind over the course of his childhood. By the time he was an adolescent, Kiju showed all the signs of stunted growth and age regression. Perhaps it could be considered a coping mechanism to his trauma?At some point in his early adolescence, he snapped after his mind and body could no longer endure the abuse. His mother had pushed him too far, causing him to find the closest, gnarliest looking branch that had broken off a tree, and shoved his eye directly into a sharp, protruding section in a desperate attempt to get his 'family' to leave him to die. Much to his relief, they did, and he ran as far as he could before finally collapsing.In some stroke of luck, some rangers ran across Kiju's body as he laid in the grass, assessed his chances, and loaded him into their vehicle where he was then taken to a wildlife vet. Thanks to their efforts, Kiju is alive today, and has just been released back to the wild.

Kiju has always been just a tad on the.. unstable side. He enjoys sparking a bit of doubt among the minds of others. He also likes observing chaos from afar rather than being placed directly in the middle of it. Kiju is pretty feminine in his looks, and occasionally behaviors, often being mistaken for a lady.As a result of his abuse, Kiju is not a fan of confined spaces such as dens, nor does he enjoy being restrained. And his eye? He loses his temper when others comment about it as it's nothing but a reminder of his past.
